The "right hand man" of First World Theatre Ensemble (FWTE), JuJu McGill, and PR Radio Station Manager TS meet in DC to chat about the DC Black Theater Festival. For the first time in festival history...a theater company has been INVITED to bring their WHOLE theater season to the festival. PR Radio Station took the trip to see what all the buzz was about. DC has accepted artists, producers and directors from across the globe to show off what they are made of and its definitely an experience you don't want to miss! #listenNOW

The hosts of Out & About with PR Radio Station are up and at'em peppering their morning with Williams-Sonoma Philly! Denise serves up and amazing spread of a "Mostly Not So Potato" salad that can definitely be a contender to momma's home cooking. Then she splashes our taste-buds with a refreshing Artichoke Bean salad! What a magnificent way to begin the day! Follow what's up next with WS Philly by following them on Facebook and Twitter!

Since igniting a national debate with their adaptation of Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe, Ego Po held a forum at Plays and Players Theater on the subject of Performing Race in America. Panelist Dr. Ania Loomba [UPenn Catherine Bryson Chair of the English Department], Dr. Camille Charles [Head of Africana Studies and Professor of Sociology at UPenn], Lane Savadove [Ego Po Artistic Director], Paule Turner [Choreographer/Actor] and Ed Swidey [Actor] discussed openly with audience members and guests on the topics of “race” and “racism” in Ego Po’s reversed cast portrayal of Uncle Tom’s Cabin and the world at large. Challenging terminology such as “post racial society” and “color blind casting”, the panel and audience charge the flood gates for a much deeper discussion. Out & About gets the inside scoop!!!
